The children are really loving it, they look forward to it and it’s a really secure part of our day.

I love the Storycises Colours book so much. I’m a children's physio and run yoga sessions with pre-school children. We’ve used this book in so many ways!

 

We read it as a story with actions, picked coloured scarves out of a bag then hunted for the matching colour action and as a memory game to remember what each child does and then copy the action when I say their name.

I love that the children are working on their gross motor skills but also fine motor skills, reading, colour recognition and listening skills too!

My 5-year-old niece stayed with me in the summer holidays for a week and she picked this up from the library on day one and wanted to do the whole book every day.

 

It was great to see her confidence and co-ordination improve over the week. Her favourites were the pink jelly and blue whale. She was able to read most of the story herself too which she was really proud about.

The younger ones didn't need to follow the older children and the
mums joined in. A fun action story that everyone enjoyed!

The children have really enjoyed the moves and as a result I feel that the participation level was higher than usual.

I put your book on a display shelf with other new books in the children’s zone and it was borrowed within a few hours.
